For those who were unable to attend The Hunwickian has written up a useful update on the events of the 30th November at the Hunwick Working Men’s club.
The meeting was attended by three particularly relevant council officers
- Alison Clark – Head of Tourism, Sport and Leisure
- Susan Robinson – Head of Corporate Property and Land
- George Richardson – Well-being Programme Manager
Next Steps
There were a large number of unanswered questions, Alison, Susan and George requested that follow up questions are sent to our councillors by email ([email protected] & [email protected]) from where they can be shared with the relevant council officers. Although we’ve already captured a lot of useful feedback it’s important that if you want your voice heard that you do so via our councillors at this stage.
We anticipate that it’ll take a week or two for us to learn of any feedback from officers following the meeting; I shall post that information to this website when I see it – as well as communicating it via the Newsletter which I encourage you to sign up for.
We will aim to meet again sometime in January to discuss the progress made and we will also invite along a parish council expert to help us learn more about what establishing a parish council may mean in the context of Hunwick.
